Chittering Swimming Pond with beach

This is a generous big-family sized swimming pond. It measure 7.5 x 7.5m plus an extra 1-2m of additional water surface area into the extended beach entry. The deep zone is about 5m x 5m.

There was already a perfect space here right out from their very craft and creative owner-built strawbale house. Only one overhanging tree branch was removed to slightly open up the space for it.

It has underwater lights so the family can enjoy it at night too.

This THE BUSIEST swimming pond we’ve ever built. Almost every time we visit the family, friends and relatives are in the pond enjoying a swim.

Something Interesting

The fence posts around the house-side of the pool fencing are salvaged jetty piers. Some even still have a buildup of old shells on them!
